Rally visits Dalbeattie Primary School
Tuesday the 1st of July saw us promote the Scottish Rally locally at Dalbeattie Primary School. The Scottish Rally gave pupils the opportunity to get up close to 2 different rally cars.

Local drivers, Donald and Scott Peacock brought along their Ford Escort MK2 and their Peugeot 205.
Dalbeattie Primary Schools pupils of all ages were able to sit in the cars and see how they worked. Scrutineer, Peter Clingan was on hand to show the children the safety features of the cars.

We were also lucky to have Merrick Rescue there to show their rescue vehicle and explain to the children their role in different motorsport events across Scotland. Local company and home of the service area, Jas P Wilson also attending to show their support and involvement of the event. Finally, clerk of the course, Jonathan Lord was there to share his expert knowledge of the event.
