Join the Team: Become a Marshal for the 80th Running

A rally of this scale simply cannot happen without our “orange army” of volunteers. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a motorsport fan looking to get closer to the action for the first time, we need your help to make the 2026 event a success.

Why Volunteer?

  • The Best View: Get closer to the stages than any spectator area allows.
  • Be Part of History: Help us celebrate the 80th milestone of this iconic event.
  • Award-Winning Team: Work alongside the crew that earned the Coogie Urquhart Trophy for the best-run event in the championship.
  • No Experience? No Problem: We pair newcomers with experienced mentors. You’ll be supported every step of the way.

Roles Available

We are looking for help across several key areas:

  1. Stage Marshals: Managing spectator safety and timing at the start/finish lines.
  2. Service Park Crew: Coordinating the busy hub at Jas P Wilson’s in Dalbeattie.
  3. Radio Operators: Keeping the lines of communication open for safety (requires specific equipment/training).

A note for 2026: With the introduction of the Barney Water stage, we have new mileage to cover than ever. Every extra pair of hands helps ensure we can run all stages safely and on time.
