Wildfire Warning from Forest and Land Scotland
There is a Very High risk of wildfire in Eastern and Southern Scotland for the period Tuesday 19 to Saturday 23 July. We urge all visitors to:
Take precautions to avoid starting a fire, including disposing of cigarettes and litter responsibly, not starting campfires, and only having barbeques where it is safe to do so Follow advice in the Scottish Outdoor Access Code: www.outdooraccess-scotland.scot If you see a wildfire, call 999 and ask for the Fire Service
