The organisers of the RSAC Scottish Rally are delighted to announce the renewal of our partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council making this already long established partnership set to continue for the foreseeable future.
The 2010 event will see some changes most notably the change of the Rally HQ venue. Due to major refurbishment work at the Dumfries Ice Bowl, the Rally will be based out of the Barony Agricultural College at Parkgate just north of Dumfries. This will host Scrutineering, Signing On, Rally HQ and Prizegiving.

Clerk of the Course Jonathan Lord says, “I’m pleased to welcome all members of the organising team to the 65th RSAC Scottish Rally.  The new Rally HQ location at Barony College presents us with a new set of challenges, and I’m confident that we shall meet them and give competitors another great event.  The various working groups are already replacing their skates with wellies in readiness for the new agricultural surroundings.

"We were particularly pleased to see an increased historic entry last year.  For 2010, we shall have the HRCR Northern Historic Championship with us again, but we’d like to give them a bit more local competition.  If you know of anyone with an eligible historic rally car, please encourage them to come to Dumfries in June."

This year we also welcome back competitors from the regular Hankook Scottish Rally Championship, the local Five of Clubs series, the Armed Forces Landrovers, and the new Brick & Steel Ecosse Challenge—formerly the 205 Ecosse Challenge. This very successful one make series is now open to Honda Civics as well. More details can be found on their website at www.ecosse-challenge.com
