Back in Dalbeattie

The RSAC Scottish Rally will be returning to Dalbeattie for 2024.

Following the move to a new base at Jas P Wilson Forest Machines in 2023, the Organising team of the RSAC Scottish Rally was very happy with the facilities offered, with a central location for Scrutineering, Service, and Rally HQ which was very close to one of the stages. With the continued support of Dumfries and Galloway Council for the 27th year running, the Rally will be back in this fantastic venue on Saturday 20 July 2024.

The Rally will visit three stages again this year with two runs each at Dalbeattie, Kinharvie, and Glengap, offering a total of 44 stage miles. The competitors will run with the Two Wheel Drive field at the front running in reverse order, followed by the Four Wheel Drive cars in conventional sequence.
The RSAC Scottish Rally is part of the Asset Alliance Motorsport UK Scottish Rally Championship, as well as the MG3 Rally Challenge, and the Northern Historic Rally Championship. And of course no Scottish Rally is complete without the presence of the UK Armed Forces Rally Team who have been bringing their Land Rovers to the event since 1963.

Jonathan Lord, Clerk of the Course, said: “We are delighted to be returning to Dalbeattie following the warm welcome we received from Iain Wilson and his colleagues at Jas P Wilson Forest Machines last year. The rally relies heavily on the support received from Dumfries and Galloway Council, and it’s a privilege to be one of their seven Signature Events which bring so much to the region.”

Safe spectator access is one of the priorities of the organising team, and they are working hard to ensure safe and easy access to Spectator Areas at two locations in Dalbeattie, and one in Glengap. Please note that there is NO spectator access permitted in Kinharvie.

Spectator access will be permitted for scrutineering on Friday afternoon, and during the course of the event, there will be a large screen bringing live action from the stages to the Service area. Please check the Spectator area of the website closer to the event for more information.
